Suppliers need to meet Luxsol’s Corporate Social Responsibility requirements on wood sourcing, ensuring wood is sourced from sustainable sources (International standards). Suppliers are audited regularly and those who do not meet Luxsol’s high standards need to demonstrate their corrective actions.

Luxsol does not deal directly with consumers as retailers are best placed to give professional advice and offer a measure and install service.

How We Make It
Manufacturing Process.
Our shutters go through a rigorous processes to give you a trouble free product. All raw materials are sourced through accredited suppliers who adhere to relevant Corporate Social Responsibility standards.
All raw materials are Luxsol Quality Control inspected and randomly batch tested to International standards. Materials are accelerate weather tested and only premium materials are used in the manufacture of Luxsol shutters. We don’t believe that saving a few cents to buy cheaper material is good practice when the risk of failure increases.
The manufacturing process is run on the Luxsol Quality Production system, which means work does not pass from one work-station to another unless signed off, giving workers ownership over their areas of responsibility and an ability to have input into improving quality and efficiency.
There is accountability and responsibility at each and every step and quality checking is not just a casual glance at the product at the end of the production line.
This provides a more seamless manufacturing process and doesn’t create bottlenecks at the end of the production line, optimising lead times.
All Luxsol products use only the highest grade materials with quality controlled every step of the process, giving you the finest furniture grade window furnishings. The Luxsol range of shutters are made using European CNC machinery, providing the highest precision and consistency available.
All Luxsol shutters are made using the strongest Mortise and Tenon joinery, not just screwed together or dowel joints used by some suppliers, in particular on their PVC shutters. Luxsol wants to provide a shutter that gives trouble free service and keeps customers coming back for more.
Luxsol insists that suppliers adhere to the highest Corporate Social Responsibility standards. This means the manufacturer is driven by a “triple bottom line”, i.e. not just for profit but also aware of Social and Environment impacts.
You can be sure that the products supplied to you do not contain harmful substances; worker welfare is paramount in regards to health and safety; and products are not made using slave or child labour, giving you a peace mind.

How We Test It
Testing Process.
Every supplier says “we have the best quality shutters”, but as the saying goes; “talk is cheap”.
We put our money where our mouth is and have our products tested by Internationally accredited independent laboratories. This gives you peace of mind knowing what you are selling, meets and exceeds strict International standards.
There have been some reports about adverse health effects of PVC. Rather than ignore that Luxsol has sourced raw materials that meet our high standards. Whilst you might be able to buy cheaper products, you get what you pay for and at what cost to you and the environment?
Traditional PVC is made using virgin materials, which means every shutter made is made using more energy and materials. Luxsol uses recycled polymer where possible, which helps to reduce waste and gives material a second life without compromising the quality.
